Hendricks' Golden Goal Sends SAU to Title Match
SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Jocelyn Hendricks scored the game's only goal 2:23 into the first overtime period to lift No. 1-seed Spring Arbor University over No. 4-seed Grace College in the Crossroads League Tournament Semifinals on Saturday afternoon at the Cougar Soccer Complex.
The No. 11 ranked Cougars advance to the tournament championship match for the fourth straight where they will meet second-seeded, and No. 9 ranked, Marian University on Wednesday, Nov. 13.

MATCH NOTES
- Jocelyn Hendricks was the hero with a game-winning, golden goal just over two minutes into the first overtime period. The senior from Grand Rapids delivered a strike from nearly 30 yards out into the top corner to give the Cougars the 1-0 win.
- Spring Arbor finished the afternoon with 17 shots while Grace registered seven.
- Goalkeeper Reagan Kohler stopped all four shots she faced to record her ninth shutout of the season. The shutout was the sixth straight for the Cougars, who have not conceded a goal since Oct. 12.
- Hendricks' goal was her sixth of the campaign, tied for the second-most on the team.

Spring Arbor aims for its second straight league title – and 12th in program history – when it hosts Marian (18-2-0) in the Crossroads League Tournament Championship on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m.
The winner will receive the league's automatic bid to the 2024 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship.
