JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League Athletes of the Week were announced on Monday, recognizing the league's top athletes from November 15 through 21. Sports Information Directors from the league institutions nominate student-athletes for the awards and vote on each week's winners.
Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Imani Guy, Marian
Guy netted a personal-best 30 points in No. 10 Marian's win over IU-East and added 16 points and seven steals in a 62-44 triumph over No. 13 IWU. Guy shot 67.7 percent from the floor in the two wins, averaging 23.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 1.5 blocks per game.
Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Frankie Davidson, Grace
Davidson averaged 27.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks per game in RV Grace's wins over Judson and Mount Vernon Nazarene. The sophomore forward's 31 points on 11-of-21 shooting highlighted GC's 83-80 win over MVNU.
Women's Bowler of the Week
Lauren Jackson, Bethel
Jackson led Bethel with 823 total pins at the Bowling Green State Classic, while averaging 164.6 pins per game. Jackson's high score was a 181.
Men's Bowler of the Week
Myles Moser, Bethel
Moser averaged 191.2 pins per game for Bethel at the Bowling Green State Classic, scoring a high of 246 during the event and ending with a team-high of 956 total pins.
