JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League Athletes of the Week were announced on Monday, recognizing the league's top athletes from February 14 through 20. Sports Information Directors from the league institutions nominate student-athletes for the awards and vote on each week's winners.

Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Taniece Chapman, Goshen
Chapman averaged 23.0 points, 14.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game for Goshen against Huntington and Bethel. The senior center scored at least 20 points in each contest, shot 58.6 percent from the floor and posted double-doubles in each game.

Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Kyle Kegley, Mount Vernon Nazarene
Kegley poured in 25 points, including the game-clinching free throws in the final second to push MVNU to a 73-72 upset of No. 3 Indiana Wesleyan. The junior forward added 13 rebounds in that game and closed the week averaging 21.0 points, 11.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists.

Women's Indoor TF Track Athlete of the Week
Shelby Christman, Huntington
Christman posted NAIA-A times in four events on her way to earning Most Outstanding Female Track Athlete-of-the-Meet recognition at the CL Championships. The Huntington freshman scored wins in the distance-medley relay and 3,000-meters, added second-place showings in the 4x800-meter relay and mile, and set the meet record in the 3,000.

Women's Indoor TF Field Athlete of the Week
Jai-Lyn Norwood, Marian
Norwood highlighted Marian's dominant run to the CL Indoor Championship and was named the meet's Most Outstanding Female Field Athlete. Norwood scored top-three finishes in the long jump, high jump and triple jump for the Knights, claiming the league title in the triple jump.

Men's Indoor TF Track Athlete of the Week
Dylan Felger, Huntington
Felger was named the Most Outstanding Male Track Athlete of the Meet at the CL Indoor Championships with a trio of individual titles and NAIA-A performances for Huntington. Felger posted wins in the 200, 400 and 600-meter races, set meet records in each event and posted the top time in the NAIA this season in the 400 and 600.

Men's Indoor TF Field Athlete of the Week
Damon Knowles, Taylor
Knowles broke the Crossroad League Indoor Championship Meet record and the Taylor program record with a first-place height of 5.2 meters in the pole vault. The mark by Knowles was also the top height in the NAIA this season.

Women's Bowler of the Week
Tandess O'Neal, Marian
O'Neal was Marian's top performer at the Hoosier Classic with a total of 1,142 pins over six games. The freshman averaged 190.3 pins per game for the Knights, topped 200 pins in three games and posted a high of 235.

Men's Bowler of the Week
Jordan Shepherd, Marian
Shepherd led Marian at the Hoosier Classic, taking 10th in the individual standings out of 528 competitors. Shepherd collected 1,308 pins at the event, averaging 218 and posting a best of 277 in his final game of the weekend.

Baseball Player of the Week
David Miller, Saint Francis
Miller batted .462 with six hits during USF's four-game set with Pikeville, slugging one home run and one double. The senior designated hitter drove in six runs, scored four times and swiped two bags to fuel the Cougar lineup.

Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Jon Williams, Spring Arbor
Williams held No. 21 Reinhardt scoreless over a five-inning start for Spring Arbor in an eventual 2-0 loss for the Cougars. Williams allowed only one hit and posted seven whiffs during his no-decision on the bump.

Softball Player of the Week
Aleyah Rastetter, Taylor
Rastetter batted .545 with an .818 slugging against No. 22 Cumberland, RV Rio Grande and Cleary. Rastetter helped RV Taylor to two wins with one double, one triple, four runs scored and three driven in, posting two multi-hit games and reaching safely in all three for the Trojans.

Softball Pitcher of the Week
Mackenzie Rust, Saint Francis
Rust fired five shutout innings in her season debut in the circle to highlight USF's 10-0 win over Indiana Tech. In addition to posting five zeroes, Rust collected the win, fanned nine hitters and only allowed two hits without a walk.
