JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League Athletes of the Week were announced on Monday, recognizing the league's top individual performances from January 16 through 22. Sports Information Directors from the league institutions nominate student-athletes for the awards and vote on each week's winners.
Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Karlee Feldman, Grace
Feldman continued putting up big numbers in Grace wins, this time leading the RV Lancers to wins over Bethel and Huntington with 17.5 points, 11.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per outing. Feldman shot 73.9 percent from the field and posted a double-double in the win over HU.
Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Jason Hubbard, Taylor
Hubbard averaged a double-double once again for Taylor, posting two games over 25 points and filling the stat sheets with 27.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks per outing. Hubbard also shot 60.0 percent from the floor and 37.5 percent from deep.
Women's Indoor TF Track Athlete of the Week
Addy Wiley, Huntington
Wiley set the NAIA record in the 600-meters and posted the fastest times in the NAIA this season in the 600, 800 and 1,000-meters for Huntington at Indiana Tech. Wiley automatically qualified for NAIA Nationals in all three races.
Women's Indoor TF Field Athlete of the Week
Destiny Copeland, Huntington
Copeland had another strong showing, this time winning the long jump and triple jump for Huntington at the Indiana Tech Warrior Invite. Copeland hit the NAIA A-standard in each event, posting marks of 5.87 meters and 11.49 meters.
Men's Indoor TF Track Athlete of the Week
Charlie Young, Indiana Wesleyan
Young ran a winning time of 1:52.82 in the 800-meters to highlight Indiana Wesleyan's showing at the PFW Invite. Young's time was the second-best in the NAIA this season and automatically qualified him for NAIA Nationals.
Men's Indoor TF Field Athlete of the Week
Shane Glasco, Bethel
Glasco won his lone event of the week with a height of 2.04 meters in the high jump. The Bethel senior hit the NAIA A-standard with his performance at the Indiana Tech Invite.
Women's Bowler of the Week
Leeah Wade, Bethel
Wade finished 17th overall with a five-game total score of 984 pins to lead Bethel at the Lynne Jordan Memorial Classic in Louisville.
Men's Bowler of the Week
Myles Moser, Bethel
Moser led Bethel at the Lynne Jordan Memorial Classic, rolling a 930 to finish 58th-of-930 individuals at the 25-team event.
