TU Cheer Shatters Program Record at Spartan Showcase

ST. LOUIS – The Taylor competitive cheer team posted its best score in program history during Saturday's Missouri Baptist Spartan Showcase. The Trojans put up a score of 89.17 to take third in the nine-team field.

TU's previous best score stood at 86.12, coming at the Crossroads League Championships on February 25, 2023.

The Trojans also blew past their mark of 83.45 from the Spartan Showcase one year ago, which had stood as the sixth-best total in program history.

Taylor has averaged a score of 85.40 during its first two competitions of the 2025 season and will look to continue its fast start when it competes at the Florida Face-Off in Kissimmee, Florida on February 15.
