Johnson, Pickering Named to PING All-Region Team

NORMAN, Okla. – Taylor's Javan Johnson and Drew Pickering have been named to the NAIA PING All-Region team, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced last week. This marks the fifth consecutive season a TU men's golfer has earned All-Region honors.

• Led Taylor with a 73.33 scoring average in 33 rounds
• Earned All-Crossroads League Honors
• Posted two victories (Battle at the Henge and Garn Championship)
• Notched 11 top-10 finishes
• Named to NAIA National Championship All-Tournament Team
• Collected T-7 finish at NAIA National Championship
• Finished season ranked No. 14 in NAIA Golfstat National Rankings
• Earned All-Region honors for second consecutive season

• Second on team with 76.37 scoring average in 30 rounds
• Earned All-Crossroads League Honors
• Collected seven top-10 finishes
• Best finish was T-2 at Crossroads League Championship
• Posted three consecutive 72's at NAIA National Championship
