
Isaiah Tipping Honored as NAIA Field Athlete of the Week
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Cameron Guadiano of Southeastern (Fla.) has been selected as the NAIA Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week and Isaiah Tipping of Marian (Ind.) has been selected as the NAIA Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from March 18-24 and were selected out of a pool of nominees from across the country.
Tipping opened his outdoor campaign with wins and A-standard performances in the discus and hammer for Marian at the Montreat Open. Tipping posted marks of 52.58 meters in the discus and 60.81 meters in the hammer. The senior also finished fifth overall in the shot put, setting a new personal best in outdoor season.
Tipping's honor is his second career NAIA Field Athlete of the Week, having previously won the award during the indoor season. Tipping now has won five career Crossroads League Athlete of the Week honors, in addition to his two NAIA Field Athlete of the Week awards.
