
CL Cross Country Grabs Five All-American Honors
KANSAS CITY – Led by podium finishes from the Indiana Wesleyan men and the Taylor women, the Crossroads League turned in a memorable showing at the 2018 NAIA Cross Country Championships.
On the men's side, Indiana Wesleyan finished second overall, with Taylor following in 16th position in the 36-team field. IWU's Jesse Saxton and Chris Maxon finished in second and seventh overall to secure NAIA All-American honors.
The Taylor women also ran to a top-three finish, taking third overall, with IWU following in 14th. TU's Sarah Harden and Alex Berends grabbed two more NAIA All-American awards by crossing in 10th and 29th, while Huntington's Aspen Dirr finished in 19th to also claim NAIA All-American honors.
