Fullerton of IWU Named NAIA Runner of the Week
JACKSON, Mich. - Indiana Wesleyan men's cross country senior Eli Fullerton was named the NAIA Men's Runner of the Week, as announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon. This is his first NAIA Runner of the Week honor this season.
"Eli ran a confident and smart race," said Head Coach Brody Beiler. "He runs for something bigger than himself, and you can tell that in the way he trains and competes."
Fullerton led No. 4 Indiana Wesleyan on his home course by topping the field of 278 runners at the IWU Twilight Invite. Fullerton took first with a time of 24:43.
The Wildcats will travel to Missouri University and Columbia, Mo for the Gans Creek Classic on Friday, September 27.
