
CL Softball Touts 23 CSC Academic All-District Selections

JACKSON, Mich. - The Crossroads League recently placed 23 student-athletes on the 2023 College Sports Communicators NAIA Softball Academic All-District Team. Mount Vernon Nazarene, Grace and Indiana Wesleyan each posted five honors, with Taylor and Goshen picking up four.
The CSC Academic All-District award is given to student-athletes with a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average and at least one full year at their current institution. Individuals must have been nominated by their Sports Information Department, must have reached sophomore status academically and must have played in at least half of their team's current season as a primary contributor.
Each team is allowed up to five nominations for softball, with every CSC Academic All-District recipient advancing to the ballot for CSC Academic All-America honors. Those awards will be voted on by members of CSC from around the nation and will be announced on June 6.
