Folkema Leads No. 3 IWU to 23-Point Victory Over No. 12 Indiana Tech
MARION, Ind. - No. 3 Indiana Wesleyan women's basketball continued their best start since the 2013-14 season with a 23 point victory over No. 12 Indiana Tech. Taylor Folkema led the Wildcats with 22 points and a career high 4 three pointers.

WHAT HAPPENED
- Indiana Wesleyan threw the first punch of the game with an 11-0 run capped off by a three from Taylor Folkema to take a 10 point lead. A 4-0 Warrior run in the final 8 seconds of the quarter cut the IWU lead to 7.
- Both offenses struggled to find consistency in the second quarter, the home team shot 28.6% from the field while the visitors were barely better with a 37.5% average. Indiana Tech outscored the Wildcats 17-16, cutting the lead to 6 at halftime.
- The red and gray dominated the third frame, outscoring IT 22-9 in the quarter. IWU shot 50% in the quarter, led by Folkema's 11. On the defensive end the Wildcats forced 8 turnovers and held the Warriors to 22% shooting.
- The Wildcat's built their lead to as much as 27 on a layup from Ellie Kelleher with 3:00 minutes left in the game. A couple of baskets from Indiana Tech at the end of the game gave IWU an 84-61 win.
