IWU WOMEN'S GOLF WINS 2022 LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - For the first time in program history, Indiana Wesleyan women's golf is your 2022 Crossroads League Champions. The Wildcats collected nine birdies and 22 pars on the back nine of Prairie View, overcoming an eight-stroke deficit to win the Championships.
Braedyn O'Dell didn't let up during her final 18, firing off a 77 and forcing a playoff hole for the individual championship. Taylor's Sabrina Langerak and O'Dell would back it up to 18, to see who would take the individual championship. Both golfers dialed up perfect tee shots and layups, leaving them wedges into the Par-5, 18 green. Langerak would stick one closest in the playoff for a birdie, edging O'Dell in the playoff.
O'Dell, Caroline Gibson, and Sydney Leyerle all earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team for the play over the 36-holes.

- The win sends IWU to the NAIA National Golf Championships in Oklahoma City, Okla. on May 24-27, 2022. This is the second consecutive year IWU has earned a trip to Nationals.
