No. 2 IWU Sweeps No. 23 Missouri Baptist In Pool Play
SIOUX CITY, IA. - No. 2 Indiana Wesleyan volleyball picked up a 3-0 sweep over No. 23 Missouri Baptist on Wednesday. Marissa Mullins led the Wildcats to victory with 6 kills and 6 blocks. IWU found a big advantage on the service line with 5 aces and only 3 errors while the Spartans had 9 errors.

MATCH VITALS
- The Wildcats looked like the defending national champs early, scoring the first 3 points of set one and leading 7-3. The Spartans responded and knotted things up at 9-9. IWU dominated the rest of the way, winning 25-16.
- Indiana Wesleyan again got off to a fast start with an 8-4 lead after an ace from Eva Joldersma. MBU took their first lead of the set with a 5-0 run to take a 16-14 lead.a 4-0 Wildcat run looked to put the Wildcats in position for a 2-0 lead, but Missouri Baptists responded with a 5-1 run to tie things at 23. A bad set from MBU and a kill from Eva Joldersma gave IWU the win.
- The Wildcats led the entire third set, using runs of 5-1, 5-2, and 4-0 to secure the victory.
- Eva Joldersma led IWU with 11 kills.
- Marissa Mullins had a match high 6 blocks. Marin Sanchez posted a career high 4 blocks. Julia Price had 3.
- Cadee Notter tallied 11 digs.
- Abbigail Porter led the way with 31 assists.
