Joldersma Sends Wildcats Back to Semifinals
SIOUX CITY, IA. - No. 2 Indiana Wesleyan volleyball will head to the NAIA Women's Volleyball Semifinals for the second consecutive season after defeating previously unbeaten No. 7 St. Thomas in straight sets. Junior Eva Joldersma came through with a big performance, posting 17 kills on just 28 swings, 6 digs, and 3 blocks.

MATCH VITALS
- The Wildcats came out on fire, taking a 14-7 lead in set one to force the Bobcats to take a timeout. STU would pull within 3 at 16-13, but IWU would finish the set strong with a 25-18 victory.
- A 7-2 run put Indiana Wesleyan up 12-9 and forced a St. Thomas timeout early in set two. Another run out of the timeout force the Bobcats to take their final timeout of the set, trailing 17-12. The Wildcats continued to string runs together, finishing the set on a 5-1 run.
- Trailing 3-2, IWU went on a 7-1 run to take the lead for good. Despite a small run from STU early in the set, the red and gray would coast to a 25-17 victory to secure the sweep.
- Eva Joldersma recorded a match high 17 kills on a .607 hitting percentage. Martina Demarchi continued her strong tournament run with 13 kills.
- Marissa Mullins added another 5 blocks to her total in the tournament while Julia Price and Joldersma each had 3.
- Camaya Murry posted 14 digs. Cadee Notter added 13.
- Abbigail Porter led the way with 44 assists, averaging 14.7 assists per set.
